Hebrews 2:5-12, Mark 1:21-28
"A heart like Jesus"
Reaching out in love, Jesus released the man from the unclean spirit so that he would be accepted and loved by others again. Many times, “unclean spirits”, such as our pride, laziness, lust, greed, etc. prevent us from deeply knowing and living our identity as God’s beloved children. These “unclean spirits” want us to live by serving our own desires and seeking our own good. In prayer, Jesus encounters us and comes to free us from these ‘unclean spirits’ so that we can love again.

Today, how can I exercise the authority to love?
